Well done Ouls Stock, great to hear those names again. I well remember Gilligans pub in Spencer Street, beside Gavins. The name was written in red letters over the door and the lady of the house wore glasses. The man of the house was very tall and thin and wore a cap. I think that there was a step down when you went in the door, just like Carney's shop in Chapel Sreet.
