This is a great return to the Board.I remember the G.A.A. been discussed/debated alot & the pub had some great pictures of old Mayo football teams on its walls.Paddy King played a pivitol role as Treasurer of Castlebar Mitchells, when McHale Park was been developed & if I remember correctly, himself and a number of others acted as gaurantaurs for the project - a huge risk back then. Also, his son Richard presented a life-size portrait of Archbishop McHale to the Sportlann where it hangs, a couple of years ago.
