i can remember it well, Brian. Many a day in summer I had to go there to get a bucket of drinking water when the tap water sourced from Tuckers Lake became "murky" or did not flow at all. In fact in those times it was not unusual to have to queue for the well.

Pop was a great character and kept a fine garden at the side of his house opposite the Hat Factory.
