I was told by someone who lived on Ellison St. in the 1920s that Mabie Heaney lived in this house sometime around or after that time. There were two steps down into it when you went in the hall door. She was a Protestant widow and her daughter Ray (unsure about spelling) Heaney married Rev. Jackson the Protestant minister who lived on Spencer St. where Darach Corcoran now lives. She also had a son called Teddy. She moved to the house after Dwyers had left it.
