I don't remember those ones but I do remember the excitement as children,when the tree would go up in the Mall.There would be bits of turf in coloured boxes as if they were presents and the turning on the lights would always be shown on the RTE news, where my friends and I would always peer over the reporters shoulder.I must be in the news archives somewhere.
