Sorry to see that I may offended someone, but all I was saying is that these traditions were for real,and if you call some kids out on st Steven's day down through years begging, well I for one do not agree.As for the little wren bird yes it was cruel and I am glad to see it does not happen now,but I dont agree with birds in cages either, going back to the old traditions, bell ringing and wren boys,people came home to castlebar from far away to be with there family's and see for themselves those traditions just like the waits calling out.
