I attended st geralds college almost 40 years ago. I must say that Joe Gilmartin was a great teacher and a gentleman.
There were two Christian brothers there at the time that were tyrants "The Flea" and "Snowball" God rest their souls but many a students spirit they broke. They banged students heads together, pulled hair out of their heads and threw the hair on their copy books, they also used leather straps in ways that they were certainly never designed for.
Anyone else got memories of these tyrants?
