Great to see the new Theatre opening in Castlebar, looking forward to seeing Riverdance late in the week. It is great to see that the "Spirit of Mayo" that we celebrated with so much pride in 1993, still alive in Mayo.
And now that we have 'Riverdance' back home, why not go the whole hog and bring back the Castlebar International Song Contest as a genuine alternative to the charade that is the Eurovision. Only genuine songwriters and performers need apply.
