I've just been looking for mentions of the Mellor family (1900 ish to 1925-26) on your excellent website. And I discovered my second cousin, who now lives in America, was doing the same in 2004. The 1900 photo of the Mall in the Lawrence Collection shows the location of their shop in the far distance on the right hand side. Before moving into Castlebar they lived in one of the small houses at the entrance to Breaffy House and my great-grandfather Lewis was the gamekeeper. My grandmother Annie was born in this little house in 1905 and knew Agnes Fahy, Rae Heaney and Alice Gavin (I apologise if I have spelt names incorrectly). I have photos from a visit I made in 1988 and hope I can get round to sending them to you if they would be of interest. Judy
