I was interested to read your post as I was unaware that Nov 11 is not specifically the national date for remembrance of irish soldiers in Ireland, as it is in the UK. I live in England and have grown up with the remembrance day service, on the nearest Sunday - as a child standing cold by the war memorial - and also observing the 2 mins silence at 11.00am on the 11th. Perhaps you could do something in the Peace Park?
