Posted by JacoD on November 11, 2008 at 20:17:27:

Michael Feeney and the peace park committee have done a great Job with the Mayo Peace Park. Here is a thought for next year,Why dont we honour irish soldiers lost in the World wars and other,by wearing a poppy or something else this time of the year.Any one got any ideas.Green poppy,A harp,A dove, small piece of holly ? To day is set aside as a holiday of remberance in lots of Countries, why not Ireland. We lost hundreds of thousands of Men and women ,as well defending the freedom we enjoy today.Peace to All Posters.
