Mchale road was the place to be coming up to Christmas.You have reminded me of some of the wonderful things that we experienced as children and young adults.How about the buying of a Turkey or goose,fattening him or her up with scraps collected after our dinners,which was not much, and feeding it to him or her out the back garden.Doing a tour of the road to see cribs and trees lit up in the windows.Peter o malley and later kevin,with there mighty christmas boxes.The Lanterns on the mall and spencer st used to be class.
