Hundreds of parents met in Castlebar to protest against the delay in settling the Secondary School teacher's strike which had dragged on for up to 12 days.One of the organisers was John Reynolds,a Psychiatric Nurse. Also,Students planned a 3 hour sit-in in Castlebar to protest against the strike.Students involved included William Scott, 17 of Main St.,Peter Coleman,Paul Heverin,Noel Kelly,Bernard Brady,Patricia Hamrock,Eileen Hoban,Colette Fahey,Maura Griffin & Marie Hynes.
Maybe one of the above might 'post' stating how things went or share any other their memory....
