I was reading Out & About in Castlebar by Old Stock and would like to know if there are any records of who worked in the old jail around the turn of the century. I have found some information from the 1901 census.
Also mentioned was the Royal Flying Corps I have found some information on the Web and at the records of the National Archives at Kew Surrey. This information was enlisting and medal issued records.
My interest is in the Elliott family who would have lived in Castle Street.
