mo cara...thank you bernard for your kind comments and appreciation......your family and mine lived on the road when in fact all the road residents of that period were a very close knit "family"....out of little we had much.......to get to any event ....cinema ....circus.. we salvaged jam jars....marmalade crocs...bucket handles....on fair days we'd watch a cow for a farmer in an archway whilst said farmer had a pint....we attempted to convert ha'pennies into pennies ...{this we done by thinking putting them on the railtracks ....the train went over them flatenning them....sadly most were distorted in shape.....but we tried....why we even put silver foil over the ha'penny to convert it into a shilling{a bob}.....we tried....but we rose to the occassion.....i miss those kinder times....once upon a time i lived happily ever after....
thank you again bernard.....
.....stay tuned for the rest of my night at the hippodrome....
.....slan agus beannact....
olibheir o'cillin...
....tog go bog e...........
