Oliver you never mentioned Mrs Faulkners orchard. No one ever crossed the fantail bridge without giving the orchard a call. You had only a couple of minutes to fill your pockets with crab apples before the black and white terriers got a whiff of your scent. It was then that the race began, you with your pockets bulging with apples and the barking dogs hot on your heels. Racing to the fantail bridge ends, a leap to the rails of the fantail and immediately lowering yourself under it and pulling yourself back up to the safety of the narrow bridge itself. Boy that was a close call.
