a cara.......thank you for reminding me of that ......i raided faulkners many a time......the o ddonnell or mcdonnell family had a coach building enterprise in the coach house at the back of faulkners.....i was a friend of kevin..? i used to go up the long lane to the back of the house.....i remember powie roach chasing me up there one day ....i was more afraid of powie than the faulkners or their dogs.....we used to run slate stone on the granite that held up their iron rails......the clanging of the stone on the granite would reverborate through the railings......" sheer magic"....speaking of making a fast exit over the bridge on the green.....i hid under the bottom end of the girders......but got ripped with barbed wire.....sgt glynnn of the local siocholonie.....gave me shit one day for crossing that bridge.....if it was'nt to be done i did it...just to prove it could be done.....look back and smile on perils past.....there are only three events in a mans life ....birth.....life and death.....he is not aware of beign born.....he dies in suffering.....and he forgets to live....i often also used that bridge to make a shortcut to knockthomas......
my apple store came from the trees that grew at the side of garveys by the barrack bridge......and many other orchards.....never get all your apples from the same tree....
