a cara..........the orchard was a hi-light 0f their farm.......myself and my cousin pete murray made several exploratory unsheduled visits to that orchard.....after our bags were loaded we would sit in kellys field across the road and taste and savour our spoils......we knew every tree in that orchard....also a very good friend of mine....a classmate sean o'maille....lived in drimneen....as a boy i spent countless afternoons on their farm at the top of that village....mrs. o'maille....came from tourmakeady so conversations were usually in gaelic......ivan browne hailed from that village......
...it appears pitstop....you too might have made visits to mcnicholas's apple trees.......
incidentally they had relatives on mchale road........
