We spent quite a bit of time there and I have to say that we were both very touched reading many of the plaques dedicated to the fallen soldiers. I have express my congratulations to my good friend Michael Feeney and all the people involved with this historic project. What a memorial this is to those who gave up there lives so that we might enjoy the freedom we have. I have visited the Vietnam memorial in Washington DC and I would say that the Mayo Peace park is right up there when it comes to immortalizing our brave fighting men and women.
