Sadly no one swims there anymore,I live up there now a good few years and Ive never seen anyone swim tha lake.The lake shore is used now by drinking teenagers, the wood and pump house is littered with empty beer cans, sadly not a very nice site.I have often seen Eastern europeans fishing there as well,but Id say there is not many,if any fish there.The moy dranage destroyed it years ago, remember all the poisioned fish lying on top of the water,and...more reasantley all the polliution let in to it by developers. I will have to see if there is anything that can be done to tidy it up a bit.No one wants to take responsibility,it would be an ideal project for those not working at present .....Going back a few years I can see ossie feeney swiming confidently to the Island and back.It was beautiful place to go in the summer time for us from the road.Cheers agás slán lat.
