a cara....thank you brian for getting my ...."hobans"....correct.....i knew your shop well..in newtown......all the gang from derrycoosh....and rehins used your shop regularly......and your dad.....his tenor voice was a great part of the choir and other vocal ensembles.....i can't understand how i mixed your family with christy hobans....old age ...i guess....i remember gilmartins well and their vans that delivered to retail ....there was also a bakery in kiltimagh....mcnicholas's that made and supplied the most delicious cakes to the town.......mrs. john jennings....began baking in the early fifties....and her cake treats were scrumptious......of course john hoban was ...a teaching legend....and his son dan was a very good friend of mine......i visited him in newport....but long before that i walked with him and his greyhounds....another brother was a doctor...and i believe practised in toronto...many years ago.....
may you ....your family have a very happy christmas.....and may 2011 give prosperity ...peace ...and happiness....
