Phil Hobans,I remember it well ,We would call in to phil on the way back to school. There was also Heneghans, and Horkans spencer street. Armstrongs.and the 2 Wynnes main street were other shops that kept toys at Christmas.

I also loved Traveling Mac Hale Rd Looking at Lighted Christmas Trees and cribs in the windows.

Shops used to give Christmas Boxes back then, now the dont know who you are, they take your custom for granted. The Recession might bring back a bit of Custom Apprication again.

A very Happy and Holy Christmas to All especially those away from home.
