In an effort to get the chat going again, can people share their memories of summer from years gone by, here are some of mine.

Playing football with no shirt on and not worrying about sun tan lotion, we had,nt even heard of it
Robbing orchards
Summer football leagues between different parts of town
Swimming at the duckpond or up the lake
Midges
Going to the bog with neighbours
