I am researching my wife's (Eileen Mulroy) Irish heritage. Through the 1901 and 1911 Irish Census we have found her Grand Father (Thomas Christopher Mulroy) and Great Grand Father Patrick Mulroy. They lived at 23 Castle St. Has this street been renovated, or is the house that is currently on that original dated back to 1901? In 1901 there was a 70 year old widow listed as living on Poorhouse Street. Was that really a street name? Patrick Mulroy was 50 years old at that time and head of the household. I suspect Mary might have been his mother. Any on this or any Mulroys in town greatly appreciated.
