I knew the Twiggs family very well. Patsy died when he was a young lad, a lovely singer; Joe, a real gentleman; Eva and Kathleen, two good looking girls. Their father Paddy was a pig buyer with Castlebar bacon factory; his wife was one of the O'Dwyer family, famous coach-builders who had their business in Ellison Street, Castlebar.
