At the age of 10 I was walking down the stairs when the news wafted up along the stair rods - a bright kid - I realised that things had changed - I had memories of the Cuba Crisis - Nuclear War Impending - Terrifying for a 9+ year old reading the leaflets that the government dropped through our doors stipulating how we should respond to nuclear weapons fallout. Farmers with milking cows were asked to be particularly heroic, etc.,

If the documentaries are accurate the Kennedys and entourage were very bright and idealistic - ethical people who saved the world? from a nuclear disaster that would have put Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Japan in the shade.

The Russians backed down but Kennedy was assassinated just like Lincoln and Collins - what would the world be like today if they had not been assassinated?
