........today is November 22/2013 ....a mild wet day in Toronto........but on November 22 /1963 the warm air in dallas texas was chilled at this very moment was chilled .....the world was alerted to the horrific news ......Walter Cronkite ....who in his day ...was termed the most trustworthy person in the united states....tears in his eyes his reading glasses in his hand......shocked the world........president kennedy was pronounced dead 1pm eastern standard time .........john fitzgerald kennedy was plucked away by an assassins bullets......john kennedy in his prime ....was mown down in a hail of bullets......john kennedy had it all......wealth ....he was handsome.....full of wit ...a masterful orator.....like an entertainer ...he wowed his audience wherever he went.....he lived life on the edge.....his theme could very well have been love me as though there were no tomorrow......and a heedless recklessness.....he was a multi dimensioned man.....he was a decorated war hero......wounds he suffered in the south pacific arena ...left him disabled all his life ....in fact his real health was hidden from most........his place as president was not his by design.....his brother joe was the anointed son...but his death in Europe during ww2 paved the way for johns destiny.......his father joe....an arrogant pompous and cunning diplomat was the master organizer....joe a very wealthy son of an Irishman...who made most of his fortune bootlegging......during prohibition....also he was a genius investor ....with the foresight t sell off most stock before the wall street crash......a movie mogul......with daliances with Gloria swanson.....joe ....helped FDR....enter the white house and as a payback garnered the ambassadorial throne in the uk...the most plum diplomats job....the kennedys ....hit London like celebrities.....but soon afterwards lost favour with the FDR watch....joe pandered to hitler and his views were very damning........joe von his return soon began grooming john......and after 8 mundane years of IKE....the time had arrived.....his opponent ...Richard tricky dickie Nixon ...fought a good fight but in television debates the charming kennedy won head over heels....the election was a close decision ....but the victory rested with .......blue eyes ...frank Sinatra....and his connections to the mafia.....sam giancana ......sam fixed the unions in anti catholic west Virginia.....and john kennedy was declared ...president.....the theme ...high hopes was echoed throughout the united states ...and sam giancan was given a marker.......joe by hook and by crook had his son planted in the white house.......and on a bitter cold January day ....john kennedy was inaugurated as president of the united states.........and so began the heady days ...of Camelot.........the kennedys trusted no one....they lived in a fort knox style familial shield.....and one of the first things john did was ....have his brother appointed attorney general...who better than brother bobby.....to buffer ......edgar hoover...director of the FBI... was no friend of the kennedys....bobby also called frank Sinatra...and told him that his visits to the white house had to be curtailed because of his connection to giancanathis was a major upset............but john the mastrer orator wooed the world .....he was blessed ....a beautiful wife...two children....caroline and john.{. jon jon..}......kennedys watch had many superb moments......he ignited a new breed ......his youthfulness....his contagious smile ....razzled the world.........but in his presidency he inherited no goers...like the failed invasion of cuba....an inheritance of the Eisenhower regime......the world was on edge in winter 1962,.......when the Cuban missile crisis ......frightened the world jis ....faceoff with kruschev ....during that period electrified the world.........in 1963....he made a European tour .....first in france by humourously saying in a state visit ....he is the man with Jacqueline kennedy.......Jacqueline bouvier was a beauty ....a woman of class ....and substance who was as fluent in French as English .,...she captivated the French president.......then the entourage left for west berlin ....where I believe kennedy had his finest hour.......the german people crushed by the berlin wall .....were electrified as kennedy began to speak ....a man bathed in history ...a most read man ....spoke with gripping authority....he ignited the passions and quelled spirits of those listening......Lass sie nacht berlin kommen.....let them come to berlin ....his voice resonated through the square...people were rebirthed...he went on .....in forceful words....today ...in the world of freedom ....the proudest boast.......is......ICH BIN EIN BERLINER...all free men ...whewrever they may live.....are citizens of berlin...and therefore as a free man...I take pride in the words ...ich bin ein Berliner.......he left berlin .....and Ireland ...where he was ...given ....a cead mile failte ....he visited wexford site of his ancertral home.....and after an irish seduction ...returned home.......his trip to texas was against the wisdom of his advisors....but kennedy boarded airforce one and headed to forth worth ...there at a convention ...he was given a tremendous welcome and gifts ...of cowbot boots and a Stetson hat.....as he spoke his plane was readied for the short flight to dallas......Jackie looked stunning ....in her rose clored coat and pillbox hat.....he hand shook many at the airfield and then left in his licoln unroofed ....along with governor connoly ...and his wife.....his motorcade ....moved along elm street .......and as the passed the book depository ....shots rang out.....and at that moment his life was snuffed out....despite attempts at parkland hospital.....the president was dead.....and a new man was sworn in.........many theories ...the warren commission....other investigations were sanctioned....lee Harvey Oswald ....an ex marine was arrested in a movie theatre ......noy long after the killing......yes Oswald fired the rifle....but anyone who has experienced shootings know.....the exit point is whwere the damage is done......kennedy had a bullet hole in the throat...the right rear side of his skull was blown away......Oswald was arrested and on sunday November 24 he was gunned down by jack ruby whilst he was been transferred to another jail....whilst handcuffed ...and surrounded by cops.....the mystery still goes on ...who killed johm kennedy......and as the world looked in awe as history unfolded that day in dallas texas...no one will ever know....was there a conspiracy......the only question remains .....do you remember where you were on that day that shocked the world.....I know where I was.........I was in the Goldhawk pud von Goldhawk roasd in shepherds bush....drinking a pint of Guinness with tommy McGowan proprietor and landlord along with my
