Yes! That was my Uncle Charlie. I am so pleased to find someone who knew a member of the family. He has been dead for over ten years, not sure exactly, He was preceded in death by his wife, Florrie, by a good number of years, He was the second sibling, my mum being the oldest. He was actually the first to die. Can you tell me how I would find the location of the shop? My husband and I will be in the Castlebar area the first week of May. We have a house rented at Tourmakeady. How close is that?
