Thanks for that information Royal, I had not heard about that awful tragedy before now. Thankfully, the number of fires seem to be on the decrease, although, saying that, there was a fire on Main Street the othet night, when the premises beside Paddy Fahey;s hardware store was badly damaged by fire. The adjoining shop, now a ladies fashion shop was damaged too.
My mind is now trying to figure out what was in the "Stuffed Sandwich" shop, in its former life? Was it Owen Kelly's known as "Evelyn's"?, a ladies fashion shop.And what was then next to that, before the "Tweed Centre" ? Come in JDP and UTP we need your help here.
