On behalf of the members of the board I would like to apologise for the delay in responding to your request. In my memory bank, I found confirmation that indeed the McCormick were in the construction buisness as they built My Fathers house on the Newport Rd. They themselves lived on the outskirts of Castlebar on The Westport Rd. And their construction yard was located in Market Square next to the town river. I am not aware of the compleate family dynamic. though I seem to rember going to school with a son John McCormick, & as i re-call he was a year in class behind me as it were. Our unvolenteered Pres."Murrisk" is in Argentina somewhere. He lived in proximity to the McCormicks and upon his return he will relate the 'The Rest of the Story'.
