School is back and evening meetings start again in earnest. The Chamber of Commerce is no different and our first meeting is Monday 18th September.

"Making your website work for you", our e-commerce conference this year will be held on Wednesday 18th October. Watch out for the brochures that you will be receiving shortly.

This year’s Annual Dinner is booked for Saturday 11th November. Our guest speaker will be Paul Doyle, Manager of the Irish Folklife Division, National Museum of Ireland, which will be based in Turlough House. Tickets will be restricted and on a first come first served basis. If you wish to book a table please do so as soon as possible.

The National Tidy Towns awards will be announced this month. Good luck to our own Tidy Towns Committee and congratulations on all the hard work this year.

The next Prism Course commences on Tuesday 26th September. Pre-booking is required.

Get rid of your used inkjet cartridges by leaving them into the Chamber Office where there is a collection bin on behalf of St. Joseph's Secondary School. If we collect 2000 the school gets a free computer. A collection bin is also available in Shaney Mac's Main St.
