Oliver staged by mrs grady's class

OLIVER
This year our class decided to stage a production of the musical Oliver. We recently got a new sound and lighting system in our hall so we decided to put it to good use. We all worked really hard for weeks to get everything ready for the big performance because we decided to raise funds for our new playground. We wanted all our parents to get a chance to see it too so we put It on at night time for them and had a big raffle on the night. Everyone enjoyed rehearsing for 'Oliver,' even Ms. Grady because there's lots of singing and dancing and it was great fun.
The story is about a poor orphan

called Oliver who found happiness on the streets of London. We performed our play for all the classes in the school on Monday,30th and Tuesday 31st of May, and then Tuesday night for everyone else. We were a bit nervous and excited but it was brilliant and we raised over 600 euro for our new playground. Thanks to
everyone who helped us.

Our School Tour

It was Thursday, 2nd of June 2005 , when we went on our school tour. We left just after 9am. We arrived at Aillwee Cave at 11am.
The cave was great. We saw a bear's bones and a bear's bed. We saw stalactites, stalagtites and a column which is 10,000 years old. The cave was made by an underground river. We went one third of a mile into the cave. After that we went to Citylimits. We went bowling and to laserworld. I came 10th. Then we went home and we got home at 6.30pm.

Our School Tour
On Thursday 2nd of June we went on our school tour to Aillwee Caves. When we got there we had lunch and then we went down to the Gift Shop.
When we got into the cave we saw bears' bones, bears' beds, stalactites and stalagmites. We saw waterfalls and columns, which are stalactites and stalagmites joined together.
At the end, the guide turned off the lights and we all SCREAMED as loud as we could. When we were coming home we went to Citylimits in Galway for bowling and laserworld. I came 17th. We came home then. I had great fun.
