Community Groups
The Family Resource Centre, which will be funded by the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs, is one of a number of centers being set up within the Western Region. The main focus will be on tackling poverty and inequality and working with people and families experiencing disadvantage in our Commmunity.
The center will be managed by a locally drawn voluntary steering committee who will be working toward identifying gaps in the delivery of the following and other services in our local community e.g. Childcare, Youth Activities, Support Services, Counselling, People with Disabilities, Young Mothers, Training, etc.,
