A Bucket Collection in support of the Kilimanjaro Nine will take place in pubs in Castlebar and Westport this coming Saturday night October 11th.
The Kilimanjaro Nine led by Christy Loftus, include Enda Kenny, John Maughan, Noel Howley, Paddy McGuinness, Larry McEllin, Martin Moran, Vinny Wrynn, and Fr. Pat Farragher. These nine men scaled Kilimanjaro; Africa’s highest mountain to raise funds for three Mayo based charities-Western Alzheimer’s Foundation, Western Care and St Dominic’s Homes for the Elderly in Newport. As the climbers paid their own expenses all monies raised will go directly to the charities. Please support by giving generously on Saturday night.
