St. Patrick's B.N.S. had a super win in the Credit Union Quiz which was held in Davitt College, held on Friday 18th January. The under 11 team of Paul Regan, Liam Martin, Shane Reilly and Kenneth Brett finally clinched their place in the Credit Union Chapter final after a three cliff-hanger tie-break rounds. St. Pats had ended the quiz in joint first place with Snugboro and St. Angelas but after the first tie-break round there were only two teams left - and it took a question about the new European Parliament president to separate them.
Our Under 13 team also performed brilliantly achieving second place behind Cloggernagh N.S. with a score of 57. The team was Donal Newcombe, Chris McDonnell, Matt Armstrong and Michael Diskin.
