This week it is monthly competition time with a theme of numbers. There is a lot of interest among members to see how this theme will be dealt with and it is hoped that members will approach the topic in a variety of ways. Time will tell - and this Thursday evenings session @ 8.00pm in room Sr 14 @ GMIT, Castlebar promises to be a not to be missed meeting.

On Thursday evening 9th. November, a dozen members braved the cold of a November evening to practise their skills at night time photography in Westport. This should be a big help to members when the Christmas lights go up next month and add a touch of colour and sparkle to familiar night scenes. It will be interesting to view the results when printed or projected in the future.
