I am curious to know does any one have an answer to this Is it true that there is a burial plot at the rear of the properties that are for auction this week in Ellison St ? if my information is correct how come it be so? I am told that a family called Fitzgearld are buried there strange twist the auctioners are Sherry Fitzgearld Did not the Castlebar river once run in this general area? if this is correct surely a decent archeogical dig should be done before any development takesplace on this site or the site owned by the ST VINCENT DE PAUL or other developers? where is AN TAISCE? or are they only concerned by RURAL houses?
