Interesting comments Royal. I had not heard of the doctor`s residence in 1798, though I heard it said that it was a school in the early 1800s.
Joe`s daughters were Ciss (Gilligan), Josey ( Loftus), Kathleen (Twiggs),Gráinne (Gee), Aggie and Rita. Sons were Johnny and Harry. Nieces were Ethel Staunton and her sister Evelyn Wynne. A nephew was John Waters, a journalist with the Western People who lived in Newtown in the 60s.
