I listened to a lovely radio programme on Margaret Burke Sheridan by John Bowman this morning and I am outraged that the Town Council took the decision to delist the building at the Mall, where she was born.This means that the owner can demolish or do what he/she wants with the building.I'm asking here and now, why did they do so? What's the reasoning? I'm particularly shocked at Johnny Mee who's been in the council for years & contributes to this forum and newspaper as 'Ould Stock'.I think we need an explanation from Mr. Mee and the other town councillors.
