According to the 1911 Census a Mc Nicholas Family resided in Aghadrinagh.( About 2 miles outside Castlebar on the Galway road.

There is no mention of an Annie however. theentry reads:
Residents of house number 5 in Aghadrinagh (Castlebar Rural, Mayo)

McNicholas Thomas 50 Male
McNicholas Mary 50 Female
McNicholas Pat 28 Male
McNicholas Maria 23 Female
McNicholas Thomas 20 Male
