From a list of old characters another member comes to mind.The Big Man Himself ,Horse Carney i remember day many a day in Castlebar when the Horse would be in town holding court in one of its ale houses.I believe he was a Landscape Gardener in England ,thats where he made all his money, of which he enjoyed himself with.The more i think of Castlebar,the more old characters come to mind,Paddy Kelly the last time i seen him was on a train bound for London Euston in the late 1960s,i remember him shouting my mothers name a loud in his very distinct feminim castlebar asccent Nora wait for me will!ya .He was a lovely and kind man and a great old character.
