a cara....chris.....i often stood outside the church at lahardane......during my "lost weekend"......but i was not selling meat....i used to shoot the breze with ...pete carney......and later slurp back a few liffeys...i think the teacher in massbrook was a miss.moran......she was scared of me...i think....as i told her ....if she caned my son beacause he did not speak irish....i would throw her into a lake......after that she listened to my suggestion.......i lived where mary robinson lives today....in the massbrook estate.....it was owned at that time by a herr funkle...or dunkle or something like that......i can write volumes on john bulls land from london to scotland and points in between.....i too imagined every male in england wore suits....and were great writers....as you say always sporting the ball point pen....and a pocket comb.....however i did manage to wear a suit as i hung out in soho.....and londons east end......
as far as elsie killeen is concerned.....i dont think she was a relative.....and if she is ....i dont suspect ...she will be rushing to let me know.....
