Yes Christmas on McHale Road brings back a lot of good memories, like when Oliver Killeen dared Michael Gavin to bend Olivers arm behind his back as far as it could go, I was the Judge to make sure it was carried out properly, anyway Olivers arm snapped and was in plaster for a couple months (sorry Oliver) Throw a bucket of water on the road, it was frozen in five minutes then we all used it as a slide with our hob nail boots. The we had the waits, the mummers, bon- for -the -light, no computers those days and we did'nt have TV either, but what fun. Happy new year to you all. God bless.
