Mammy Hanley was loved by generations of children in Castlebar.She taught my father & some of my older brothers and retired when I started school.
The esteem & respect that they had for her was enormous & when the topic schools or teachers came up,a special word was always spoken about Mammy Hanley.
May she rest in peace.
