Athlone I.T. Sports AwardsThe annual Athlone IT Sports Awards were held last week with students from Castlebar being recognised in the honours list. Emer Mc Cormack from Castlebar won an award for her involvement in the ladies football team & other sports both playing, and in her capacity as Clubs Officer with the Students Union.
Her sister Sheila Mc Cormack won player of the year for ladies rugby! Congratulations are also extended to Emer on her being elected incoming Senior Deputy President in the Students Union Athlone I.T. Her term of office will commence in July. Castlebar.ie wishes her every success in her new post.
