BRACKLOON-SKELP-LOOP-WALK

Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail - walk on Saturday 25th June commencing at 10.30 a.m.

Walk in the Shadow of Croagh Patrick.

Meeting place: Brackloon N.S. (Just off Westport-Leenane road) parking available.

The walk follows Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail through Brackloon Wood and follows minor roads as far as Prospect. It then continues over Skelp and descends to Owenwee bog road at Boleybrian. The walk continues through quiet country road to reach the assembly point once more. The walk is approximately 6 miles long and level of difficulty is hard. Walk should take about 4 hours, including a stop for lunch.

Walkers are advised to bring packed lunch and bottle of water (Flask of Tea/coffee optional extra). All walkers should wear good walking boots and suitable rainwear. A high visibility jacket is also advised.
