30 anglers fishing in the Oughterard area also experienced top-class trout angling when they caught 100 trout for 145 lb in 54 rod days. The Barton party of 4 anglers (Dublin) had an exceptional catch of 17 for 28.5 lb for a day's fishing, all in the Glann area.
