Castlebar Mitchels won three county titles in the Mayo Scor na nÓg finals held in held in Breaffy Community Centre, on Saturday, November19th. Representatives of the Mitchels club won the figure dancing, the solo singing and the instrumental music sections. The standard in all competitions was very high.

The dancers were Éabha Rice, Aoife O'Connell, Niamh Gillespie, Ellen Murphy, Claire Balaski, Carrie Gilligan, Katie Forrestal and Louise Gavin.

Vicki Davies showed vocal maturity when winning the solo singer competition.

The audience was regaled by traditional musicians Fintan Murphy, Caoimhe Kilkenny, Pat Boyle, Kate Heneghan and Ellen Murphy.

All these performers go foward to the Connaught finals on 29th Jan 2012, which will be held at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar.
