Gaelbhratach

School Activities

Congratulations to the sixteen students who were elected as members of the Coiste Gaelbhratach at the start of the year. They have been working hard to promote spoken Irish in our school by teaching poems and having conversations as Gaeilge with all of the students in our school.

Gaelbhratach Scheme- Promoting Conversational Irish in Scoil Naomh Aingeal

Scoil Naomh Aingeal is taking part in a Gaelbhratach Scheme and we are encouraging the use of conversational Irish as much as possible in the school community. We are all trying hard to greet each other as Gaeilge in the corridors by saying ‘Dia duit’ and replying ‘Dia is Muire duit.’ We are also starting conversations with each other by asking ‘Conas atá tú?’ or ‘Aon scéal?’
