Old saying (in Irish)

Posted by Mayo Roots on September 16, 2005 at 06:46:29:

My great-grandmother and her parents emigrated from Kiltimagh to the United States in the 1880s. All of them had an exclamation, in Irish, which sounded to us like Musha (which I know to be "muise," or "indeed") .. and then the second part sounded like Ma-HOCK-ett. It was something you'd say when you were annoyed. Does anyone have any idea what they were really saying, and what it means??
Gratefully,
Anne N
